Gulf Coast Trees
Owner-run since 2001 with its own crane and lift fleet, and reviewers say it recommends trimming over removal when trees can be saved.
About Gulf Coast Trees
Patrick Planthaber has run Gulf Coast Trees since 2001, with an in-house crew and no subcontractors. The company owns spider lifts, bucket trucks, grapple loaders, and chip trucks, and it does crane-assisted removal on tall or hazardous trees. Customers say the crews arrive on time, work quickly, and leave the yard clean, with debris hauled off the same day. Several reviewers mention getting a quote that didn't push unnecessary removals, and say Patrick explains what each tree needs. Pricing comes up often as fair and upfront. Some reviewers mention early starts, and one neighbor complained about a chipper running at 7:30 a.m.
