About Florida Tree Companies
Florida Tree Companies lists 4,723 tree companies across 321 Florida cities and ranks them by what their customers say. It's built and run by AOS Web + Marketing, a web and local SEO shop in Jacksonville.
Where the information comes from
Every company here has a Google Business Profile. Names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, ratings, and review counts come from those profiles. Services, founding years, certifications, and equipment come from each company's own website, and we only list them when the company states them. Each profile's written summary is drawn from the company's site and its recent Google reviews.
How companies are ranked
City rankings use a weighted Google rating. Each company's rating is blended with its city's average according to how many reviews back it up, so a 5.0 from four reviews doesn't outrank a 4.8 from four hundred. A company needs at least five reviews to be ranked. Nobody pays to be listed or to move up. If we ever offer paid placement, it will be labeled as featured and kept separate from the rankings.
