About Steve's Tree & Hauling Service LLC
Steve's Tree & Hauling is a family business in Venice that has been working in Sarasota County since 2008, with owner Steve Judy Sr. saying he has been in the trade 40-plus years. They own their own equipment, including two stump grinders, a bucket truck, a crane truck, and a dump truck, and they say they do not subcontract. Their main work is removing and trimming larger trees, grinding stumps, and hauling debris away. Customers say the crew shows up on time, works quickly, and leaves the yard clean, which is the thing most people bring up. Several reviewers mention storm damage cleanup after Hurricane Ian and say the quotes were fair. Some say the crew handled tight spots, like narrow back yards, with manual work. Customers also say the Judys communicate well and are easy to deal with from the first call.
